libbitstring-ocaml-dev software package provides Erlang-style bitstrings for OCaml (development files), you can install in your Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libbitstring-ocaml-dev
libbitstring-ocaml-dev is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libbitstring-ocaml-dev package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libbitstring-ocaml-dev *
You will get with libbitstring-ocaml-dev package name, version, architecture and description in a table
